Index of Names (by surname) on FreeAAinNC Project Website


Below is my attempt at creating an index, alphabetized by surname, then given name, of all people mentioned on all documents transcribed (including white men and women who were the apprentice masters or clerks of county court, etc.). What I will do, at least for now unless I come up with a better idea, is list the name and county for each document they are on, and then provide a link to the document using a number for each document they are mentioned on.
